About

Talking Simpsons

TALKING SIMPSONS is a weekly chronological exploration of the greatest show ever made! Each week, funny guests join us to tackle a different episode of The Simpsons and break down every 22 minutes into an embiggening discussion about Our Favorite Family. Since starting in 2015, we’ve released hundreds of episodes with comedians, writers, artists, and other Simpsons fans who bring their unique perspectives and insight to the table. We’ve even interviewed folks who’ve worked on the show and learned behind-the-scenes info never revealed anywhere else. To sum it up, we heartily endorse this event and/or product!

What a cartoon!

WHAT A CARTOON! is an audio exploration of every cartoon ever. We take an in-depth look at an episode of a different cartoon every first Monday of the month. On the last Monday of the month, we release a super-sized episode about an animated feature film. There’s no doubt about it: if you love animation history, you’ll be wowed by our deep dives into cartoons from present and the past!

MINISERIES

That’s not all! We’ve released several miniseries exclusively for Patreon: TALKING FUTURAMA (monthly!), TALKING OF THE HILL (monthly!), BLABBIN ‘BOUT BATMAN, TALKING MISSION HILL, and TALKING CRITIC, with more to come.

FUNDED BY FANS

We’re two independent podcasters who work full-time on these shows thanks to the support of our loyal listeners on Patreon. In other words: we can’t do this without you, so join today and be rewarded with hours of extra content!

Henry Gilbert

Co-host & producer

Henry has over a decade of experience as a podcaster, and a lifetime of experience as a fan of TV, films, comics, games, and wrestling. He does not wish for people to get fired for their animation blunders, but he will point them out. Rumors are that he owns an air fryer.

Henry lives in Seattle, WA, with his husband and physical media library.
